ABOUT AMANDA RHEAUME & ISHKODE RECORDS
Ishkōdé Records is an Indigenous, women-owned record label created to foster and amplify Indigenous voices – to advocate for Indigenous artists, songs and stories in the commercial music landscape. Amanda Rheaume is a Citizen of the Métis Nation and a prolific singer songwriter. Her work has gained her critical acclaim, including Canadian Folk Music Award for Aboriginal Songwriter of The Year as well as a Juno Award nomination for Aboriginal Album of the Year. Through close collaboration with Amanda and her label, Light Switch Creative helps bring to life many of Amanda’s stories – providing videography and photography for virtual concerts, Behind-the-Scenes moments, iPhone documentaries for Apple Canada, Ottawa Tourism promotions, and album trailers.
